World’s largest private single location thermal power plant is an integral part of Mundra SEZ.

Out of the 15,000 Ha planned expanse of Mundra Special Economic Zone presently, two notified multi-product SEZs spread over an area of 6473 Ha respectively and a Free Trade and Warehousing Zone (FTWZ) spread over an area of 168 Ha is developed. Mundra SEZs allow flexibility to industries in deciding plot size as per their respective project requirements.

Eco-friendly school campus with a modern computer lab, fully catalogued library, medical room, art studio, language labs, sports arena, etc already established.

  • Adani Foundation jointly with DAV Society has setup a school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi
  • Calorx Public School affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi is functioning in the zone.

Owing to the vast expanse of Mundra SEZ, an area of 255 Ha is earmarked for the immediate development in the non-processing area, supporting the social needs of stake holders. Well planned development of the Township include Residential Units, Service Apartments, Commercial Structures, Social Amenities and Infrastructural amenities (Roads, Drainage, Water Distribution network, Sewage Collection & Transmission network and Landscaping works). Phase I of the Township is operating with 720 residential units and as part of Phase II development, over 670 residential units and 2 hostel blocks with 350 rooms will be added very soon.

Educational & vocational infrastructure is fundamental to the development of any region besides the industrial infrastructure. Understanding this as an important need for development, Mundra SEZ provides the following:

Mundra - Industrial Clusters

Mundra has land available in parcel sizes of 1 – over 500 acres. Mundra Manufacturing Zone provides equal opportunities for all the industrial sectors. However, cluster based industrial development strategy is based on the assumption that such strategy provides greater economic benefit to the units.

Cluster based development model is successfully implemented at Mundra SEZ, with the development of cluster for the textiles. We have been awarded the Mega Food Park contract by Government of India. With the vision of Make in India, we aim to focus on the development of five more industrial clusters – Chemicals and Petrochemicals, FMCG, Logistics, Heavy Engineering, and Plastics. We aim to build industrial clusters by partnering to provide all support infrastructures for each of the above.
